గురుభక్తి - జగద్గురువులు శ్రీ భారతీ తీర్థ స్వామి సూక్తి
Just as the Lord is not pleased by external exhibition but by devotion, the Guru too is pleased only by true devotion. The Shastras say that देवमिव आचार्यमुपासीत – Worship the Guru as the Lord. The devotion towards the Guru will result in our Shreyas. It is natural for everyone to desire the best for oneself. This will come about only by the Grace of the Lord and the Guru. We observe Guru Bhakti even in the case of the Lord’s incarnations.

జగద్గురు శ్రీ చంద్రశేఖర భారతీ మహాస్వామి సూక్తి
If a man says that the Himalaya mountain exists, can another man deny its existence, merely because he has never seen it? Obviously not. Similarly, many sages have seen and realised God. Sankaracharya, Vidyaranya, and Sadasiva Brahmendra are only some of the thousands who have had a direct experience of God. So it is impossible to deny God’s existence, merely because we are unable to see him, due to the darkness of ignorance which covers our eyes.

"Man proposes; God disposes," says an old adage. It does not mean that God is perpetually opposing whatever man does. What really happens is that when man exerts through his egoism in a manner which violates the eternal law of God, he naturally feels frustrated, being beaten back by the law of Truth.
