Meditation isn’t a small simple task that we can begin straightaway. It takes years to master. You have to take care of your entire mind throughout the day. Meditation depends mostly on how you live the day. If you don’t take care of the day to day living, you can’t have good meditations. Ask yourself, ‘How did I spend the whole day?’ Then, if you don’t feel that you are meditating properly, you need not get dejected over it. You may say, ‘Well, I didn’t take care of the mind throughout the day. I let it go astray. I completely gave it freedom. Now I can’t hold it all of a sudden. So tomorrow I must take care of it throughout the day.’ That’s how you learn a lesson.
