How to Deal with Anger
“Ask yourself whether your anger achieves anything. On the one hand, it may not create any effect on the person you’re angry with. He or she may say, ‘You are always angry like that,’ and ignore you and keep on. Then your anger is useless. On the other hand, you ruin your own peace and health; it is your blood that boils. If you get angry often, you become nervous. So it’s best to analyze the cause and instead of pointing your finger at somebody, ask yourself, ‘What did I do to become angry?’ Blaming others or expressing anger is not the best way. Every time you express anger, or any habit or desire, you are renewing it. You need to starve it. Don’t give it the opportunity to express itself. Then it starves for want of expression, and you will feel free.
