Atman has no karma; it’s just there as an eternal witness. It’s something like the sun in our solar system. The sun is there and it shines, that’s all. In the presence of the sun we can do anything. We may use the light or misuse the light. The sun is not affected by it. The Self in us is the sun, the Atma Surya, or the Atmic sun. Because of the Inner Light, the mind functions. In front of the sun, the lotus blossoms. In the same way, because of the Atma, your mind thinks, feels, wills, desires, and the body moves. It all happens because of the Atmic light inside.
