హిందూ ధర్మం - 273 (కర్మసిద్ధాంతం- 13)

ప్రకృతి త్రిగుణాత్మకం. జీవుడు భగవంతుని అంశ. కనుక అతడు త్రిగుణాతీతుడు. త్రిగుణాతీతుడైన జీవుడు, తానే మనస్సు అనుకుని, త్రిగుణాత్మకమైన ప్రకృతిలో బంధించబడుతున్నాడు. ఆ కారణంగానే తాను దైవాంశ అనే విషయాన్ని తెలుసుకొనలేకపోతున్నాడు. ఇది ఎలా జరిగింది అనే ప్రశ్న ఉత్పన్నమవుతుంది.

దీనికి సంబంధించి, ఒకానొక సందర్భంలో సద్గురు శివానందమూర్తి గారు ఇలా చెప్పారు (దీనిని వి.వి.యస్. శర్మగారు భద్రపరిచి మనకు అందించారు) - ఒక సమయంలో ఒక శిష్యుడు గురువుగారితో మాట్లాడుతూ "నేను సాధన వలన మీస్థితికికి చేరగల వరాన్ని ప్రసాదించండి." అని కోరాడు. అప్పుడు గురువుగారు "ఈ జన్మలో పరిణామం పొందిన జీవులు, ఊర్ధ్వలోకములనుండి అవతరించిన జీవుల స్థితికి చేరవు" అని చెప్పారు. ఈ సంభాషణలో ప్రప్రథమంగా అక్కడ ఉన్న వారికి ఆయన ప్రస్తుత స్థితి తెలిసింది. అలా చెప్పగల ఈయన ఎవరు? ఆయన ఎక్కడ నుండి ఇక్కడకు వచ్చారు? ఆయన అవతరణ వెనుక కారణ మేమిటి? ప్రథమమున అవతరించిన వారికి ఈయనకు సంబంధమేమిటి? సృష్టి ఆదినుండి ఆయన ప్రయాణమేమిటి? ఈ అనేక ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానాలు ఆయన చెబుతూ వచ్చారు. 
సృష్టి ప్రారంభం
ఆరంభం అంటే శూన్య స్థితి. ఏదీ లేదు, ఎవరూ లేరు అనుకోవచ్చు. ఆస్థితిలో ఎవరో ఒక్కరికి తానొక్కరే ఉన్నాననే భావన కలిగినది. ఆయన స్థితి అవధులు లేని ఆనందం ఆయనకు ఈయబడిన నామం సదాశివుడు. సృష్టికి మూలం. సృష్టి అంటే ఒకరికి మరొకరు. ఒకటి అయిన సదాశివం రెండు అయినది. తనే అయిన పరమ శివుడు, తన శక్తి పరాశక్తి. తన శక్తియే తన ప్రకృతి. ఆ సమయంలో తన నుండి కోట్లాది తేజోరేణువులు వెలికి వచ్చాయి. ప్రతి రేణువు పరమ శివుని ప్రతిరూపమే. క్రమముగా ప్రతి రేణువుకు, రేణువుకు, ప్రకృతికి పరస్పర సంబంధం ఏర్పడింది. ఈ సంబంధాల ఫలితంగా ప్రత్యణువు తాను ప్రత్యేకమనే భావనలోనికి వచ్చి పరమ శివునితో సంబంధమును కూడా విస్మరించినది. అప్పుడు ఈ రేణువులు జీవులు అనబడినవి. మూలాన్ని విస్మరించడమే వానిలో వ్యాపించిన అవిద్య, అజ్ఞానం. దానితో శివుడు, జీవుడు అనే ద్వంద్వ ప్రవృత్తి ఏర్పడింది. జీవుల మధ్య పరస్పర విరుద్ధమైన సంస్కారాలు ఏర్పడినవి. జీవుల మధ్య హానికరమైన సంస్కారాలు కల జీవులు ఉత్పన్నమైనారు. పరాశక్తికి వాటిని నిర్మూలింపవలసిన ఆవశ్యకత ఏర్పడినది. ఇది సృష్టి ఆరంభంలో జరిగినది. దీనితో జీవులకు పరిమితులు ఏర్పడినవి.
పరమశివుని అనుగ్రహము వలన జీవులకు తమ ఆరంభస్థితిని తిరిగిపొందే అవకాశ మీయబడినది.. దీనికై తిరిగి తిరిగి సృష్టిచేసే సంకల్పము పరమేశ్వరునికి కలిగింది. ఇది జీవుల పరిణామానికి ఏర్పడిన మార్గము. ఇదియే తమసోమా జ్యోతిర్గమయ (అవిద్యనుండి జ్ఞానానికి ప్రయాణము) అనే ప్రార్థన. ఈ సంకల్పమునకు స్థిరత్వమునిచ్చి సృష్టి స్థితి లయాల వ్యవస్థ చేయునది మహావిష్ణువు. ఆయన నాభికమలం నుండి ఆవిర్భవించిన చతుర్ముఖ బ్రహ్మ ప్రతి సృష్టిలోనూ జీవులకు భౌతిక శరీరాలు, భౌతిక జీవనానికి అవసరమైన సామగ్రి సృష్టిస్తాడు. జీవులు వేర్వేరు పరిణామ దశలలో ఉంటారు. సమయము ఆసన్నమైనప్పుడు బ్రహ్మ నుండి పుట్టిన రుద్రుడు తిరోధాన కార్యము చేబడతాడు. ఈ రుద్రుడు సృష్టిని సంకల్పించిన సదాశివుడే. లోకాలు, జీవులు యథాస్థితిలో విష్ణుగర్భంలోనికి తీసికొన బడి తరువాత ప్రతిసర్గ మొదలయేవరకు, నూతన బ్రహ్మకల్పారంభము వరకు, ఆస్థితిలోనే నిలిచి ఉంటారు. ఇది మహావిష్ణువు యోగనిద్రా సమయము. 
లోకంబులు లోకేశులు
లోకస్థులుఁ దెగినతుది నలోకంబగు పెం
జీఁకటి కవ్వలనెవ్వం
డేకాకృతి వెలుంగు నతని నే సేవింతున్ ||
ఈ సృష్టి విజ్ఞానం శ్వేత వరాహ కల్పంలో వైవస్వత మన్వంతరంలో ఉన్న మనకు ఎలా తెలిసింది? అనంత కాల చక్రంలో ఈ ప్రతి సృష్టి కార్యక్రమం నేటివరకూ జరుగుతూనే ఉన్నది. సదాశివ పరమశివులతోబాటుగా మరియొకరు ఈ సృష్టికి సాక్షిగా అనేక బ్రహ్మకల్పాలను చూస్తూ ఉన్నారని అర్థమౌతున్నది. అర్హత గల కొన్ని ముముక్షువులైన జీవులకు, జిజ్ఞాసువులకు, సామాన్య మార్గమునకు మారుగా వేగముగా పరిణామము చెందే విధానమును బోధించుటకు ఆ సాక్షి సృష్టి చక్రములో ప్రవేశించాడు.. ఈ సనాతనుడైన ప్రత్యక్ష సాక్షియే మూర్తీభవించిన గురుతత్త్వము."  ఆ గురుస్వరూపమే దక్షిణామూర్తి, హయగ్రీవుడు.

In a state of desirelessness, man does meritorious acts and does not even expect to be thanked. It is for the others to remember, he does not remember. In a way, this kind of attitude makes the actions not binding on him. The results of the actions do not bind him since he has no desires. Desirelessness cuts the bonds that chain one to the material earth. The bonds get weakened and he is free. The snare in which he is caught is cut into pieces and he frees himself.

Like the bird caught in the snare of hunter, man is caught in the web of his own desires. To free himself from the bondage and chains that are binding him to the earth, all that he has to do is shed desires. Be desireless totally.

What exactly do you mean by darkness here?

“Darkness here means ignorance, i.e., ignorance of one’s duty. Moksha is the goal. The desire for liberation is known as the auspicious desire. The one who can fulfill that desire is called Jagatguru.”

We say “Krishnam vande jagatgurum”

“Krishna is called Jagatreyaguru, i.e., the Guru for this Bhu, Bhuva and Suva lokas. This is because His teachings are relevant to the inhabitants of all the three worlds. He bestows His grace upon all of them. He protects a few, punishes some and shows the path to liberation to a few. It is He who is able to show the path of wisdom to anyone. So, one who can take us from darkness to light is Jagatguru.”

So, one who can give moksha to everyone is Jagatguru?

”Moksha is only for the awakened among human beings. One who shows that way and takes across is the Jagatguru.”

Then, who is Jagatguru in this context?

“One who knows the secrets of creation, one who knows the qualities of nature, one who has made God his own and is one with HIM, one who can give that path, which is the easiest and the direct from bondage to freedom, is called the Jagatguru, as we come to know.”

A question arises here….

“I know your question. Are the souls capable of reaching God by themselves? Does such a desire or a resolve arise in them on its own? The answer is ‘No.’ They do require someone to stir them up from their slumber. They need someone to tell them that this world is not their world but only a transit point and that they should not allow themselves to be trapped by karmic activity. Someone has to tell them that they are born on this earth, not to be bound by karma but seek God and reach Him and that alone is their duty. If not today, at least tomorrow, they should learn to free themselves from this bondage and be free. They need someone to tell them that this is the intention of the Lord towards them.”

Guruji, often you say, creation is grace. How?

“Yes. Srushti is anugraham. Yes, creation is grace. It goes without saying that the grace is upon the souls. Why is creation called grace? Creation provides an opportunity for the souls to ascend, from, darkness to light, from nescience to wisdom and so on. This is how the God takes them into Him. That is why creation is called grace.”

The term ‘Jagatguru’ has two meanings. One who lasts till the world lasts is Jagatguru. That is one meaning. That, which is responsible for giving the wisdom of liberation to the souls, even before creation is called Jagatguru. So, the term has two meanings like this.

After we have sought Jnana and Mukthi from the lord once, we should not think of reminding Him. Forgetfulness is a human quality and we should be careful not to load it on the Lord. You should have the faith that He will grant it, for, you have asked for it.
