To come under the protection of a Mahapurusha, you can order everything... you can't hunt a Guru. None of you can know who is the Guru. The qualities of the Guru are so subtle....Greater the Guru, smaller He looks, humble and simple.... Real Mahatma's, they always secretly live, nobody knows that He is there. How am I to know...?

There is no question of you running after a Guru. The Guru comes to us. Never can a disciple go to the Guru... Guru always comes to you... First you open up yourself. Stay where you are, where the Lord has kept you... Never mind, stay where you are.. open up... open up, purify your mind. The right time the Guru comes to you as the bee comes to the flower... In case a Guru takes you in His hands, takes you under His wings, to protect you, guide you, to lead you, That is the Greatest Blessings.

గురువును వెతకడం మనకు సాధ్యమయ్యే పనియేనా?
ఒక మహాపురుషుని రక్షణలోకి వస్తే, నువ్వు దేన్నైనా శాసించగలవు... నువ్వు గురువును వెతకలేవు. గురువు ఎవరనేది మీ ఎవరికి తెలియదు. గురువు యొక్క లక్షణాలు సూక్ష్మంగా ఉంటాయి... గురువు ఎంత గొప్పవాడైతే, ఆయన అంత చిన్నవాడిగా, వినయంగా, సామాన్యంగా కనిపిస్తారు... నిజమైన మహాత్ములు రహస్యంగా జీవిస్తారు, ఆయన ఉన్నాడనే సంగతి కూడా ఎవరికీ తెలియదు. మరి నాకెలా తెలిసేది?
గురువు వెనుక నువ్వు పరిగెత్తడమనే ప్రశ్నే లేదు. గురువే మన వద్దకు వస్తారు. శిష్యుడు గురువు వద్దకు వెళ్ళడమనేది ఉండదు... గురువే ఎప్పుడూ మనవద్దకు వస్తారు... ముందు నువ్వు తెరుచుకోవాలి. ఎక్కడున్నావో, భగవంతుడు ఎక్కడ ఉంచాడో అక్కడే ఉండు... ఫరవాలేదు, ఉన్నచోటనే ఉండు... వికసించు... వికసించు, మనసును శుద్ధి చేసుకో. తేనెటీగ పువ్వు వద్దకు వచ్చినట్లుగా సరైన సమయంలో గురువు నీ వద్దకు వస్తారు... ఒకవేళ గురువు నిన్ను తన చేతుల్లోకి తీసుకుంటే, నిన్ను రక్షించేందుకు, మార్గదర్శనం చేసేందుకు, నడిపించేందుకు ఆయన రెక్కల క్రిందకు నిన్ను తీసుకుంటే, అదే గొప్ప ఆశీర్వచనము.

In the Bhagavad-gita, Sri Krishna describes how the three types of persons, with three different visions live in the world. A person with a sattvika vision lives in bliss and freedom because he/she perceives the oneness of things and beings and therefore, the heart is filled with love for all. The rajasika person is constantly struggling as he/she sees differences, which create divisions, likes and dislikes in the mind. The tamasika person lives in bondage, taking the part for the whole and getting fanatically attached to one little thing.

బాలకృష్ణ మీనన్ నేషనల్ హెరాల్డ్ పత్రికలో జర్నలిస్ట్‌గా ఉద్యోగంలో చేరారు. హిందూ సాధువుల పట్ల వ్యతిరేకత ఉన్న ఆయన, వారు దేశాన్ని మాయలో పడేస్తున్నారని, వారు చెప్పేదాంత అబద్దాలనే భావన బాలకృష్ణకు ఉండేది. ఆ భావనతోనే అప్పట్లో సన్యాసాశ్రమంలో గొప్ప గురువుగా ప్రసిద్ధి చెందిన స్వామి శివానంద సరస్వతీ వారి ఆశ్రమానికి ఋషికేష్ చేరారు. స్వామి శివానంద జీవన్ముక్తులు, త్రికాలవేత్త, సనాతనధర్మానికి చెందిన ఎంతో జ్ఞానాన్ని వెలికితీసి, ఎందరో పంచారు. డివైన్ లైఫ్ సొసైటి స్థాపకులు.

అటువంటి వారికి బాలకృష్ణ మీనన్ ఆశ్రమానికి ఎందుకు వచ్చారో శివానందులకు తెలుసు. అయినా వారిని స్వాగతించారు. ఇక్కడేన్ని రోజులుంటారు అని అడిగి, రెండు రోజుల్లో వెళ్ళిపోతానని బాలకృష్ణ అనగానే రెండు రోజులేంటీ? దిల్లి నుంచి ఇది చాలా దూరం. ఇంకా చాలా రోజులుండూ అన్నారు స్వామి శివానంద. సద్గురువు అగ్ని వంటి వాడు. అతని దర్శనమే అజ్ఞానాన్ని నశింపజేస్తుంది. ఇక అతని సాంగత్యంలో ఉండడం ఎంత ఫలిస్తానిస్తుందో ఎవరు చెప్పగలరు? సాధువలు పట్ల ఉన్న భ్రమలు బాలకృష్ణకు తొలగిపోయాయి. అటు తర్వాత స్వామి శివానందులే ఒక శివరాత్రి నాడు బాలకృష్ణ మీనన్‌కు సన్యాసం ఇచ్చి స్వామి చిన్మయానంద సరస్వతీ అని నామకరణం చేశారు. ఆస్తికుడైన బాలకృష్ణను సాధకుడిగా చేశారు స్వామి శివానంద.

ఇది గురువైభవం

చిత్రంలో కుడి నుంచి మూడవ వారు స్వామి చిన్మయానంద, నాలుగవ వారు స్వామి శివానంద.

స్వామి చిన్మయనందలోని జ్ఞానతృష్ణను, సూక్ష్మ బుద్దిని స్వామి శివానంద పరిశీలించారు. ఇతనికి వేదాంత జ్ఞానాన్ని తెలియపరిస్తే లోకానికి ఎంతో మేలు చేస్తాడని ఊహించి, చిన్మయానందులవారిని ఉత్తరకాశీలో గంగా తీరాన చిన్న కుటీరంలో నివాసముంటున్న స్వామి తపోవనం వద్దకు పంపారు. తపోవనం వేదాంతంలో నిష్నాతులు. కానీ ఆయన దగ్గర శిష్యరికం చేయడం అంత సులువు కాదు. వేదాంతం ఒకపట్టాన అర్దం కాదు. కానీ ఆయన చెప్పినవి ఒక్కసారే అర్దం చేసుకోవాలని, మళ్ళీ అడిగితే, ఆశ్రమం నుంచి వెళ్ళిపోవాల్సి ఉంటుందని, ఆ ఆశ్రమంలో అందైరికి నియమం విధించారు. సూక్ష్మబుద్ధి కల స్వామిజీ, తపోవనం స్వామి వద్ద 8 ఏళ్ళ పాటు శిష్యరికం చేశారు. చిన్మయుడి సూక్ష్మబుద్దికి స్వామి తపోవనం కూడా ఆశ్చర్యపోయేవారు.

హిందూ ధర్మ పునరుజ్జీవనం స్వామి తపోవనం వారి బలమైన కోరిక. ఈ ధర్మానికి ఎదురవుతున్న ఇబ్బందులను చూసి మౌనంగా ఉండలేకపోయేవారు. ఒకసారి స్వామి చిన్మయానందుల వారు, గురువుగారితో, నేను ఈ జ్ఞానాన్ని ప్రపంచమంతా ప్రచారం చేస్తానని, అందుకు అనుమతి కావాలని అడుగగా, ఎంతో సంతోషించారు స్వామి తపోవనం. స్వామి శివానంద కూడా ఈ విషయం తెలుసుకుని ఎంతో ఆనందించి, స్వామి వివేకనందా వలే గర్జించు అని చిన్మయానందకు లేఖ రాశారు. అలా గురువుల అనుగ్రహంతో స్వామిజీ ఎన్నో ప్రసంగాలిచ్చి, వేదాంతాన్ని వ్యాప్తి చేశారు.

స్వామి శివానంద స్వామి చిన్మయానందను సాధకుడిని చేస్తే, స్వామి తపోవనం వేదాంతాన్ని బోధించి వారికి సదృష్టి కలిగించి, పరబ్రహ్మ తత్త్వాన్ని అందించారు. స్వామి తపోవనం వారి అనుగ్రహమే ప్రపంచానికి అంత గొప్ప వేదాంతిని అందించింది.

ఇదే కదా గురువైభవం అంటే.
