మీ నుంచి నాకో మాట కావాలి.

నేను మిమ్మల్ని ఇంతవరకు ఏదీ అడగలేదు. ముఖ్యంగా ఆర్థికంగా. నాపై దైవం యొక్క కృప చాలు. అన్నీ ఆయనే చూసుకుంటున్నాడు. సరిపోయినంత ఇచ్చాడు. కానీ ఈరోజు మీ నుంచి ఒకటి ఆశిస్తున్నాను. ఇన్నాళ్ళు మీరు నా పోస్టులు చదివారు, ఎన్నో విషయాలు తెలుసుకున్నారు, మరి మీరు నాకు దానికి బదులుగా ఏమిస్తారు? ఈ రోజు ప్రపంచ పొగాకు వ్యతిరేక దినం. మీరు నాకో వాగ్దానం చేయాలి, మీ నుంచి నాకో మాట కావాలి. అదేమిటంటే మీరెప్పుడు వ్యసనాలకు బానిసలు కారని. పాన్, గుట్కా, మద్యం, సిగిరెట్టు, మాదకద్రవ్యాలకు దూరంగా ఉంటారని. వీటి మీద డబ్బులు తగలెయ్యకుండా మీ కుటుంబాన్ని జాగ్రత్తగా చూసుకుంటారని. ఇంతకముందు మీకీ వ్యసనాలు ఉంటే మానేస్తారని. మాట ఇస్తారా? ఎంతమంది ఇస్తారు?

A selfless life is what you call the image of God. God is never selfish, and God’s nature is never selfish. So if you lead a selfless life, you are in God. When you have God, certainly everything else will be added unto you.

వైశాఖ అమావాస్య- శని జయంతి

కాస్త బిజీగా ఉండి చెప్పడం మరిచాను. వైశాఖ అమావాస్య నాడు శని జయంతి జరుపుతారు. శనైశ్చరునికి సంబంధించిన ఈ తిధిని శని అమావాస్య అని కూడా అంటారు.

ఛాయ దేవికి, సూర్యభగవానుడు పుత్రుడు, నవగ్రహాల్లో ముఖ్యమైనవారు, వారాలలో శనివారానికి అధిదేవత, శ్రీ శనైశ్చరుడు. శని జయంతిని వటసావిత్రి వ్రతం రోజునే జరుపుతారు. ఈ రోజున ఉపవాసం ఉండి, శని దర్శనం చేసుకుని, శనైశ్చరుని ఆశీర్వాదం పొందుతారు. పూర్వజన్మ కర్మకు శని ఫలితం ఇస్తాడు. అది పాపకర్మ అయితే కష్టాలు పెడతాడు, పుణ్యకర్మ అయితే సుఖాలు ఇస్తాడు. జీవుల పూర్వకర్మలకు ఫలితాన్నిస్తూ, నిక్ష్పక్షపాతంగా వ్యవహరిస్తూ, అందరికి న్యాయం చేస్తాడు శని దేవుడు. శని పెట్టే కష్టాలు మానవుడిని ఆధ్యాత్మికత దిశగా నడిపిస్తాయి.

శనిని ధ్యానించడం వలన ప్రాణభయం తొలగుతుంది, ప్రమాదాలు నివరించబడతాయి. పెద్దలకు, తల్లిదండ్రులకు సేవ చేయడం, వాహనం అధికంగా వాడకుండా, ఎక్కువగా నడవడం; ధర్మం వద్దని చెప్పిన పనులు చేయకుండా ఉండటం, ధర్మం విధించిన పనులను నిష్కామంగా చేయడం, ఆంజనేయస్వామి వారిని, పరమశివుడిని, శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామిని ప్రార్ధించడం వలన, శనికి తైలాభిషేకం చేయడం, భొజనానికి ముందు కాకులకు అన్నం పెట్టి, ఆ తర్వాత భుజించడం వంటి పనుల వలన శనైశ్చరుని అనుగ్రహం కలుగుతుంది.

ఈనాడు (25-05-2017, Thursday)(వైశాఖ అమావాస్య) శనిని కాసేపు ధ్యానించి ఆయన అనుగ్రహం పొందుదాం.
